Labor Day is over and the kids are back in school, which means "fall-flavored" treats are back on the menu. The smell of pumpkin spice is in the airacross the SouthCoast with desserts such as apple almond galettes to a banana nut bread martini. Here are 12 spots to satisfy anyone's autumn craving tastebuds.
Duke's Bakery (Fall River)
Located on Davol Street, Duke's has pumpkin flavored iced-coffee,donuts, and muffins. There is also a pumpkin muffin streusel cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake as well as a new pumpkin butternut bisque. The bakery has an assortment of other fixingsalso offeringgluten-free and allergy-friendly treats.
Al Mac's on the Go (Fall River)
Home of the famous Al Mac's iced java andcaramel mocha, the local drive-thru option near the corner of Newton and Amity streets featuresfresh, high quality ingredients.
Al Mac's offers "pumpkin-cravers" a pumpkin brew and pumpkin spice cake on their menu.
Thyme Blossom (Fall River)
Located on Purchase Street, Thyme Blossom offers the pumpkin perq is a "must-try" drink for any fall drink lovers. It's a coffee drink with pumpkin pie sweet cream made with real pumpkin and house made pumpkin spice syrup.
There is also a pumpkin cakelet on the menu which is a light and very fluffy pumpkin cake layered with cream cheese frosting.
Frates Drive-In(Taunton)
Open since the 1930s, when it was originally known as the PX —a gas station and small convenience store — Frates Drive-In has been run by owner Greg Klisiaris since 2014. The historic spot on Somerset Avenue is now serving pumpkin and pumpkin Oreo ice cream as well as a pumpkin Oreo frappe.

Bittersweet Farm (Westport)

Somerset Creamery (Somerset)
The family-owned creamery on County Street in Somerset has been serving homemade ice cream since 1937. There is a special fall flavor Indian pudding made with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger available for guests.
Acushnet Creamery (Acushnet)
Not to be outdone,Acushnet Creamery on Main Street offers pumpkin Oreo and apple peachice cream on the menu.
DoughCompany (New Bedford)
Located in the Kilburn Mills, directly left of the main entrance, Dough Company offers guests a pumpkin cold brew as well as aa pumpkin pie muffnut. TheBrown Butter Ricotta Bundt Cake is also back by demand.
Cotter Hospitality, the team behind DoughCompany, or DoCo, say theyseek to change the game by "creating a local-focused bakery, café, catering kitchen and all-around community hang-out atthe mill."
Merrill's on the Waterfront (New Bedford)
The harbor-front restaurant that provides guests a front row seat to thefishing port, will be serving two apple-inspired co*cktails: an apple pie martini and an apple cider sangria.
For dessert, there will be a pumpkin spice brulée which is pumpkin infused custard topped with turbinado sugar brulee.
The Baker (New Bedford)
Since December 2016,owner and head baker Brandon Roderick has beenserving fresh artisan pastry, bread, sandwiches and coffee at The Baker in downtown New Bedford.

For the fall season, The Baker offersapple almond galettes which feature an all-butter pie dough, almond paste spread, Granny Smith apples, cinnamon sugar, apricot glaze and pearl sugar.
There is also an almond danish with a dollop of cream cheese icing filled with toasted almond frangipane and sliced almonds.
The website also sharesa "heads up" that hours and product availability may change without notice in the upcoming weeks as Roderick prepares for a newborn baby on the way.
Butternut Bistro (New Bedford)
Located at 4437 Acushnet Ave., thebistro with a "Parisian cafe vibe"is a cute and cozy place to go for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is serving a pumpkin cinnamon roll iced latte with caramel swirl, whipped cream and sprinkles. There's also a cinnamon coffee cake and butterscotch brown sugar muffin on the menu, too.
Neighborhood Nutrition Club (New Bedford)
The Kempton Street drink spothas lots of healthy drink options to offer from teas, milkshakes to juices. There's a pumpkin banana bread shake on the menu. The owner says the mission of the shop is to make the world healthier and happier, "by offering healthy meal replacement shakes, energizing teas, and herbal aloe."
There's seemingly something for everyone on the menu.
Donut Factory (Fairhaven)
Located on Howland Road in North Fairhaven, the Donut Factory continues to focus on creating unique experiences for its guests when it comes to donuts. For the fall season, warm apple cider donuts are officially back and can be turned into a sundae upon request.There is also aPumpkin X Factor coffee drink flavor, too.
