My 11 year old made this and we were so thrilled! I’ve always made my spaghetti sauce from scratch and I was a little scared to try anything new. To my amazement, it was really good!

Easy to make, delicious, family favorite. I use whole grain noodles to cut carbs and there is no difference. It could use a little more spice, I add a hickory blend.

This recipe is sooooo fun !!!! How can you not like cooking the pasta with the sauce all in one pot! Reminds me of the Kraft recipe for lasagna - no pre cookig of the noodles, even though you are not using the no cook noodles. I augmented and added some of the ingredients and spices to our taste. Anybody wants to know, call me or rsvp and I will be happy to share. Yummy!

I read this recipe and all the good reviews yesterday and thought i will try it, even though I was a little sceptic. What a wonderful surprise. This is a very handy recipe when you have two toddlers that needs more time than the cooking. Thanx.

My family and I loved this recipe. The sauce was outstanding. This is a family favorite. We did all the steps exactly how they were except we added a little less chile powder. Other than that we had an excellent dinner that we shared with our friends.

I would recommend cooking pasta separately and pouring sauce over pasta. When I cooked pasta in sauce some of the pasta did not cook.

this looks great....I have a one pot spaghetti that I have been using for the past few years, I never make homemade sauce anymore, because my family prefers this 1 lb of ground beef,(i add italian sausage sometimes) 6oz can of tomato paste, one can of chicken or beef broth, 1 2/3 cup of water, onion, mushrooms, garlic...8oz of spaghetti, (i use angel hair) uncooked, dried basil, garlic..(sometimes add a dash of catsup, we like a sweeter sauce.....make your sauce, taste it...then add pasta, cover and voila! But I will be trying this one tonite!

Wow! I wanted a simple delicious pasta dinner and this was it! It was very easy to make and the surprisingly the chili powder gave the sauce a nice flavor and kick. My whole family loved it and it was great to cook in one pot too! Will definitely make this again. I also added Italian Seasoning instead of Oregano and added some basil too, but this is great quick homemade sauce.

This is a nice basic recipe for a quick uncomplicated weeknight family dinner. It is one that even fussy kids will eat. Think better tasting hamburger helper type dish. I swapped out the tomato juice for beef stock to cut some of that acidity. Serve it up with a veggie and some salad and you're good to go!

THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! It was one of those dishes that you want to keep eating, but are too full. My entire family loved it too! I will only use this spaghetti recipe from now on. I didn't cook the sauce as long as the recipe called for. I cooked it for about 10 minutes, then added the noodles. I served it with a green salad and garlic bread. I will absolutely make this again!

This is a dish the whole family loved. My 13 month old went nuts over this! I am going to save this recipe for my go to. The only altering I did was using 1.5 lbs of beef, half the onion, V8, and rotini pasta. I didn't simmer the sauce for 30 minutes and instead just added my noodles to cut the cook time in half. I never seen spaghetti made in one pot and it made clean up super easy! Served this with basil pesto bread.

This was GREAT! I loved it for a weeknight..serve with crusty bread and butter and a salad or green vegetable and sprinkle with fresh-grated Parm for a perfect family meal. My kids LOVED it and the leftovers were a hit too. And the best part -- super quick for a weekday meal and only one pot to wash up. My go-to spaghetti recipe from now on!
